The main pond is stocked with trout and also contains:

• Large mouth bass (some can be over 5 pounds)
• Yellow perch
• Hornpout 
• Chain pickerel
• Sunfish (bluegill and pumpkinseed)
• Golden shiner

There is a strict limit of keeping 3 fish per membership per day

Suggested gear for Catching Trout:

• 6 ft. medium action spinning rod
• Spinning reel with 4 or 6 pound monofilament

Rod and reel combos can be found at Walmart or Bass pro shops for around $25.

Float rig (suggested for new anglers):

• Weighted bobber
• Size 10 or 12 hook. Many people also buy eagle claw snelled hooks
• Trout or nightcrawler worms
• Pink, yellow or orange power bait

Cast out to the middle of the pond, watch for the bobber to move then reel!

Bottom rig:

Here you will want the same setup as above except using a sinker instead of a bobber which will float the bait up from the bottom.

Casting Lures:

Many anglers will throw spoons like a Colorado, phoebe, little cleo, Kastmaster or a spinner.

Tip: gold color seems to work well .
